The Pioneer Woman writes on her blog about the day-to-day life of an ranch mother and wife. She's won her the Weblog of the Year Award in 2010, 2009 and 2011. Growing up in Bartlesville Oklahoma she studied journalism and gerontology while at college. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman.
